Former Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain Eitan Na’eh Dies at 62
Eitan Na’eh, Israel’s first ambassador to Bahrain following the Abraham Accords, has passed away at the age of 62. He served in Bahrain from December 2021 until November 2023.
Na’eh had a long diplomatic career, including serving as Deputy Head of Mission and Chargé d’Affaires in the United Kingdom from 2013 to 2016. He later served as Israel’s ambassador to Turkey before his posting in Bahrain.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised Na’eh for his dedication and diplomatic skill. “Eitan had a unique ability to build bridges and strengthen ties wherever he served. He was a true team player with a generous heart, committed to the State of Israel. He will be deeply missed by the Foreign Ministry and the nation.”
