Hotels honoured for supporting successful tourism season

Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi, Minister of Tourism and Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, affirmed that the hotel sector remains a cornerstone in developing and promoting tourism in the Kingdom.

She highlighted the active role of participating hotels and the high-quality initiatives and services they provided, which contributed to the success of the “Bahrain Holidays” season, enhanced the visitor experience, and raised the level of tourism readiness across the Kingdom.

The recognition ceremony honoured hotels that played a pivotal role in the season.

Collaboration

H.E. Al-Sairafi explained that the strong collaboration with these hotels allowed for the creation of flexible and diverse accommodation and tourism packages tailored to the needs of different categories of visitors.

These packages were integrated with events and programs accompanying the “Bahrain Holidays” season, enhancing the Kingdom’s appeal as a comprehensive tourist destination, boosting hotel occupancy rates, and stimulating overall tourism activity.

She emphasised that such partnerships between the public and private sectors serve as a successful model of integration, supporting national efforts to diversify tourism offerings, enrich seasonal activities, and organise attractive events throughout the year.

The Minister expressed her gratitude to all participating hotels for their support and tangible contributions, stressing the importance of continuing to strengthen and expand strategic partnerships.
