Bahrain Expresses Solidarity With Pakistan After Deadly Police Attack

Manama:The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned a terrorist attack that targeted a police vehicle in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, resulting in the deaths of several police officers. In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced the attack and reaffirmed Bahrain’s firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.

The ministry expressed Bahrain’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Pakistan, as well as to the families of the victims. It stressed Bahrain’s absolute rejection of acts of terror that seek to undermine security and stability and instil fear among innocent civilians.

The statement underscored Bahrain’s solidarity with Pakistan in confronting terrorism and supporting efforts aimed at maintaining peace and public safety. Bahrain reiterated its principled position in supporting international cooperation to combat extremist violence in all its forms.

The attack took place in northwestern Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a region that has faced repeated militant assaults in recent years. Police said a patrol vehicle was targeted in a bombing, killing multiple officers and highlighting ongoing security challenges in the area despite intensified counterterrorism operations by Pakistani authorities.
