Bahrain St. Mary’s Cathedral Appoints 2026 Governing Body

The new managing committee of the Bahrain St. Mary's Indian Orthodox Cathedral has officially assumed office for the 2026 service year. The installation ceremony was led by H.G. Dr. Geevarghese Mar Theophilos, Metropolitan of the Ahmedabad Diocese and Assistant Metropolitan of the Mumbai Diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Church. The new officials took charge in the presence of the Parish Vicar, Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas Karaikkal, and Associate Vicar, Rev. Fr. P.N. Thomas Kutty. The nineteen-member governing body includes John K.P. (Trustee), Kuruvilla Pappy - Aby (Secretary), and committee members representing the parish's 13 area prayer groups.
