Cooperation Committee Holds Regular Meeting to Boost Coordination

The Cooperation Committee between the Capital Trustees Council, municipal councils, and government entities held its regular meeting to review ongoing projects and strengthen coordination.

The meeting was chaired by Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, who stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between government bodies, the Capital Trustees Council, and municipal councils. He said this coordination helps ensure integrated efforts in implementing service projects that meet public needs and development goals.

The minister highlighted the key role played by the Capital Trustees Council and municipal councils in supporting development, progress, and prosperity. He also emphasized the importance of adopting quality initiatives, ideas, and proposals submitted by municipal councils, and discussing them with relevant authorities to improve community services.

During the meeting, members reviewed the roads and sewage projects plan for the Capital Governorate and Muharraq Governorate. Updates were also presented on the progress of plans and projects in the Northern and Southern Governorates.
