Bahrain committed to advancing US strategic partnership

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed Bahrain’s pride in its strategic relations and strong partnership with the US.
He expressed the Kingdom’s aspiration to further strengthen and advance these relations at all levels.
HM the King was speaking as he received a US Congress delegation of members, headed by US Senator Markwayne Mullin, member of the Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC).
Relations
HM King Hamad reviewed with the delegation the development of the longstanding historic relations between the two countries.
He also commended the efforts of the US Naval Forces Central Command in maintaining maritime security and protecting international navigation in the region, and praised the role of the American community in Bahrain and its contributions to various areas of development.
His Majesty highlighted the US role in maintaining regional security and stability and in promoting global peace, commending the efforts of President Donald Trump to advance peace in the region and worldwide.
Appreciation
The US Congress delegation expressed their appreciation to HM the King for his commitment to further consolidating the historic partnership and strengthening Bahraini-American relations.
They also praised Bahrain’s vital role and its supportive positions in efforts to promote peace, security, and stability in the region and globally.
