HM King hails growing Bahrain-Kuwait ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, emphasizing the longstanding friendship and collaboration between the two nations.

He also noted the ongoing development of close cooperation and joint initiatives, particularly in the media, cultural, and youth sectors, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.

Keenness

His Majesty emphasised the shared keenness to further strengthen and consolidate these ties.

HM the King was speaking as he received His Excellency Abdulrahman Baddah Al Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs of the State of Kuwait, during his visit to the Kingdom.

H.E. Al Mutairi conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, along with his best wishes for continued progress and advancement of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

His Majesty, in turn, asked the minister to convey his greetings to HH Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad, and his sincere wishes to the State of Kuwait and its people for further prosperity and development.

Role

HM King Hamad commended the significant role played by HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait in supporting and strengthening Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations across all domains.

For his part, the minister expressed gratitude to His Majesty the King for the warm reception and generous hospitality, and his deep pride in His Majesty’s role and efforts in consolidating the distinguished relations between the two countries and strengthening the close bonds between their peoples.
