HM the King Issues Royal Pardon, Orders Release of 963 Inmates
Manama: On the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Day celebrations and the 26th Accession Anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, issued a Royal Decree granting a special pardon and ordering the release of 963 inmates.
The pardon includes individuals convicted in various cases who have served part of their sentences, in addition to a number of inmates who were subject to alternative penalties.
The Royal pardon reflects His Majesty’s longstanding humanitarian approach and his commitment to giving those covered by the pardon an opportunity to reintegrate into society and contribute positively to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey, led by His Majesty, which has brought growth, progress, and prosperity to Bahrain.
