HRH Crown Prince Meets with Minister of Tourism

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Her Excellency Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi, Minister of Tourism, and Sara Ahmed Buhiji, Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, at Gudaibiya Palace on Monday. The meeting followed Manama being crowned the World's Leading Business Travel Destination at the World Travel Awards 2025.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister praised the national workforce's commitment and initiatives driving the tourism sector's growth, aligning with the Kingdom's comprehensive development led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He highlighted Bahrain's unique tourism attractions, growth environment, and investment opportunities, strengthening its competitiveness as a leading destination.

HRH expressed appreciation for efforts contributing to the awards, noting the tourism sector's key role in development and economic diversification. He commended the national workforce's commitment and expertise, supporting the sector's growth and success.

Her Excellency Al Sairafi thanked HRH for his support in advancing the tourism sector. The meeting was attended by HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court; HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy; and senior officials.
