Bahrain develops human rights protection framework

Ghada Hameed Habib, Ombudswoman and Chairperson of the Prisoners’ and Detainees’ Rights Commission (PDRC), underscored that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to strengthen and develop its human rights protection framework.
She noted drawing upon a distinguished civilisational heritage, enduring societal values, and a solid legal and legislative framework, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Human Rights Day is observed annually around the world on December 10.
