MP Hassan Ibrahim said His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s address at the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of Parliament set a clear view of Bahrain’s future, with the Bahraini citizen described as the core asset for progress.

In a statement, he said HM King Hamad’s speech served as a unifying reference point for the next phase of work, linking the country’s hopes to strengthening citizens’ skills and widening the scope for their growth across fields.

He said the address also stressed a shared Bahraini identity and connected development with belonging and unity, framing this as part of Bahrain’s effort to remain secure and stable amid regional pressures.

MP Hassan added that His Majesty’s praise for cooperation between the legislative and executive branches was a mark of confidence, and called for continued work on laws and parliamentary checks on government performance in ways that serve citizens.

He also praised His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, for leading government work and supporting long-term programmes aimed at improving public services. He said the address drew attention to youth empowerment, stronger science and education, and advanced knowledge economy.
