33rd Arab Jewelry Exhibition Opens
The 33rd edition of the Arab Jewelry Exhibition has once again positioned Bahrain as a premier destination for luxury trade shows, Minister of Tourism H.E. Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sirafi affirmed today. She described the annual event as a cornerstone in Bahrain’s international events calendar, highlighting its role in elevating the Kingdom’s standing in the global exhibitions landscape.
H.E. Al-Sirafi expressed her gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his patronage of the exhibition, noting that his continued support underscores the importance of the exhibitions and conferences sector as a key driver of economic growth and a central pillar of Bahrain’s Tourism Strategy 2022–2026.
“The Arab Jewelry Exhibition is one of the region’s most distinguished specialized events, offering visitors a rich experience that blends creativity with luxury,” she said. “The exhibition grows each year in terms of exhibitors, display space, and visitor numbers, reflecting the confidence of participants and investors in Bahrain’s competitive environment and its capability to host world-class events.”
This year, the exhibition features 659 exhibitors from 29 countries at the Arab Jewelry Exhibition, alongside 51 exhibitors from 6 countries at the Arab Perfume Exhibition.
H.E. Al-Sirafi also highlighted Bahrain’s advanced infrastructure, particularly the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sakhir, as a key factor enabling the Kingdom to host major international events at the highest standards. “These exhibitions not only attract global visitors and participants but also stimulate the local economy, boosting sectors such as hospitality, retail, transportation, and logistics,” she added, emphasizing the importance of cross-sector collaboration in achieving shared economic and strategic goals.
