Over BD 140,000 Worth of Drugs Confiscated in Coordinated Bahrain Raids
Ministry of Interior has announced that the Anti-Narcotics Department, part of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence, successfully apprehended several individuals of different nationalities in possession of over 9 kilograms of illegal drugs, with an estimated market value exceeding BD 140,000.
According to the authorities, the arrests followed swift intelligence-gathering and investigation efforts. “Once we received information about these incidents, immediate searches and inquiries were launched, leading to the identification and detention of the suspects along with the seized narcotics,” a statement from the department said.
The General Directorate confirmed that all confiscated substances were officially secured, legal procedures were initiated, and the cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution for further action.
