The Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA), in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Police, is set to host AI GameDay 2025, an exciting competition for IT students from both public and private universities across Bahrain. The event will take place on Thursday, 20th November 2025, with the support of stc Bahrain and in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
AI GameDay 2025 offers students a unique opportunity to sharpen their skills by working with cutting-edge AI tools and solutions. Participants will tackle real-world challenges that strengthen creative thinking, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making, all while contributing to the Kingdom’s growing pool of national tech talent.
The Royal Academy of Police highlighted that the event emphasizes hands-on experience, introducing students to AI applications and cloud computing fundamentals using AWS technologies. Teams will collaborate to develop innovative, integrated solutions, enhancing not just technical expertise but also teamwork and project management skills.
Supported by stc Bahrain, the top three teams will be recognized for their achievements with awards celebrating outstanding performance. Preparatory virtual sessions for accepted participants are scheduled for 18th and 19th November, ahead of the competition kickoff.
