Wide Praise for Second Season of ‘Qadha’ Youth Programme
The second season of the national youth programme Qadha has received widespread praise from MPs, youth association leaders and civil society representatives, who told our sister newspaper Al Ayam that the initiative has become a leading platform for developing a generation of young Bahrainis capable of rising to challenges, showing commitment, and working effectively in teams.
They noted that the programme reflects a clear national vision for empowering young people and offers an advanced model for harnessing national talent. They added that Qadha has evolved from a competitive format into an inspiring national initiative, opening new opportunities for youth development and self-discovery. They also commended the significant support of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, emphasising that his guidance has been pivotal to the programme’s success and broad impact.
Participants said the continuity of the programme has played a crucial role in motivating young people to take initiative, pursue achievements, and embrace responsibility, while deepening their understanding of the importance of contributing meaningfully to Bahrain’s economic and social development.

MP Ahmed Al-Salloum, Chair of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, congratulated the Qadha team on the launch of the second season, stressing that the programme continues to demonstrate its ability to empower young people and build promising national capacities. He said Qadha has become a motivating platform that nurtures creativity and innovation, encouraging the community to recognise young talents capable of driving positive change and presenting exemplary national models.

MP Hassan Ibrahim said Qadha represents a milestone in strengthening the capabilities of Bahraini youth, reflecting a national approach that places young people at the centre of development priorities. He added that the programme affirms confidence in Bahrain’s youth and demonstrates that, when given the right opportunity, they can deliver meaningful achievements. The second season, he noted, with its practical experiences and real-world challenges, proves that Bahrain’s young people are truly “up to the task” in every field that serves the nation.
