Sri Lankan Ambassador Participates in Significant Katina Ceremony in Bahrain

H.E. Shanika Dissanayake, Ambassador of Sri Lanka, and Embassy staff participated in the annual Katina Robe Offering Ceremony (Katina Cheewara Pooja) at the Sri Sadaham Vimikthi Sewana (Bar Bar Temple) in Bahrain.
The Katina is one of the most significant annual Buddhist rituals, where new robes are offered to the Sangha following the Vassa (rainy season retreat). The event was organized by the Sri Lanka Welfare Society
