Focus on Kingdom’s foreign policy

The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) held a session on Bahrain’s foreign policy as part of its “National Paths” programme, presented by His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi, Chief of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Al Tarifi outlined the principles of Bahrain’s foreign policy, including mutual respect, non-interference, peaceful conflict resolution, and strengthening regional and international partnerships.
He reviewed Bahrain’s role in supporting joint Arab action and highlighted the success of hosting the Arab Summit.
He also discussed Bahrain’s positions on current regional and international issues, emphasising the Kingdom’s commitment to peace, stability, and dialogue.
The session covered upcoming diplomatic milestones, including Bahrain’s non-permanent membership of the UN Security Council and its hosting of the next GCC Summit.
