Health Minister visits AGU's Medical Centre
Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh visited the Arabian Gulf University (AGU)'s Medical Centre, in the presence of AGU's president, professor Khalid Al Ohali and senior staff members.
The minister stressed the ministry's efforts and keenness on boosting the cooperation with the AGU's Medical Centre to benefit from its expertise and modern technological equipment.
Dr. Al Ohali briefed the minister about the BD12 million worth three-layered facility that comprises specialised clinics and medical laboratories manned by elite teaching staff of the AGU's College of Medicine in addition to Gulf and international experts. The centre includes hi-tech equipment which help provide outstanding quality health services to patients.
The minister was escorted by the university's president and the centre's senior staff members in an inspection tour around the facilities of the centre, including the diagnostics, cardiology, laboratory, oncology, mammography, radiology and endoscopy units.
