HM King Hamad Receives UAE Deputy Prime Minister, Reaffirms Deep Bilateral Ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed the longstanding and deeply rooted fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), their leaderships, and their peoples. His Majesty noted that these relations are built on strong foundations of cooperation, mutual understanding, and close coordination, emphasizing the shared commitment to further strengthening ties across all fields.

This came as His Majesty, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the UAE, and his accompanying delegation at Sakhir Palace. His Highness’s visit to Bahrain was on the occasion of attending the closing ceremony of the third joint exercise of the International Security Alliance.

During the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed conveyed to His Majesty the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, along with their best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity under His Majesty’s leadership.

His Majesty reciprocated the greetings and extended his sincere wishes to the UAE leadership, wishing the country and its people further prosperity and development.

His Majesty also praised the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed in establishing the International Security Alliance, commending its vital role in promoting cooperation, exchanging expertise, and unifying efforts to enhance regional and global security and stability.

His Majesty expressed appreciation for His Highness’s efforts in advancing the strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and the UAE. The meeting also reviewed regional and international developments and discussed issues of mutual interest.
