HRH the Crown Prince Congratulates BACA on Bahrain Pavilion’s Gold Win at Expo 2025

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), along with members of the Kingdom’s Pavilion team at Expo 2025 Osaka.

The meeting followed the Bahrain Pavilion, “Connecting Seas,” being awarded the Gold Award by the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) under the ‘Self-Built Pavilions’ category for Architecture and Landscape.

His Royal Highness congratulated the Bahrain Pavilion team on this distinguished achievement, expressing appreciation for their dedication and creativity, which embody the values of Team Bahrain and reflect the Kingdom’s pursuit of excellence.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted that such international recognition strengthens Bahrain’s global presence and reputation, underscoring the role of Bahraini talent and innovation in driving the Kingdom’s continued progress under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

His Royal Highness also emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to contributing innovative ideas to global dialogues while inspiring future generations to sustain the nation’s development journey. He commended the Kingdom’s advancements in architecture, design, and sustainability, noting that these successes demonstrate Bahrain’s growing competitiveness and creative capacity on the international stage.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister further affirmed that Bahrain’s cultural heritage remains a source of national pride, serving as a bridge between civilizations and a testament to the Kingdom’s identity and enduring legacy.

For his part, His Excellency Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness’s support of the culture and antiquities sector and conveyed his pride in the international recognition Bahrain continues to achieve under His Majesty the King’s leadership.

The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and several senior officials.
