On behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa on Monday evening visited the Muljimal, Kavalani, Thaker, Pambavasan Nair, Bhatia, and Asarpota families as part of Diwali celebrations, affirming that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, continues to embody coexistence, unity, and mutual respect as defining pillars of its national identity.

His Excellency Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Hamad Global Centre for Coexistence and Tolerance,, affirmed that Bahrain stands as a global model of human fraternity and mutual respect. This came during his visit to the Kavalani and other families in Manama to share in their Diwali celebrations, where he praised their contributions to Bahrain’s social and commercial life and highlighted the nation’s proud legacy of coexistence, symbolised by the presence of the region’s oldest Hindu temple in the heart of Manama.

The Thaker family, among Bahrain’s long-established Indian-origin business families, has contributed to the Kingdom’s trade and enterprise landscape over many decades.
