Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have moved beyond coordination to full-fledged integration in vital sectors such as transport and logistics, Deputy Prime Minister, His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, said during talks with Saudi Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Dr. Rumaih bin Mohammed Al Rumaih at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla said that this approach strengthens economic and social ties between the two countries and their peoples. He also noted that land and maritime transport linkage projects, both existing and planned, form a strategic corridor that reinforces the two countries’ positions as international hubs for trade and logistics.

These projects facilitate passenger and cargo movement and establish modern transit ports aligned with economic and commercial growth, contributing to the objectives of Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and Saudi Vision 2030, which jointly aim to diversify economies and enhance infrastructure efficiency.
