Royal speech lays foundation for future: MP Al-Dhaen

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s speech on the occasion of the opening of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term constitutes a national document that envisions the future with a comprehensive approach centered on national identity, knowledge empowerment, sustainable development, and strengthening institutional partnerships.

This was emphasised by MP Dr. Maryam Al-Dhaen who noted that the content reflects HM the King’s deep belief in the role of Bahraini women and their position as genuine partners in the nation-building process.

This is exemplified by the efforts of the Supreme Council for Women, chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, in promoting equal opportunities and empowering women in leadership positions, the lawmaker pointed out.

She added that His Majesty’s praise for the performance of the legislative and executive authorities, and his commendation of the ongoing cooperation between them under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, demonstrates the profound royal trust in national institutions and underscores the importance of coordination between the two authorities in achieving national aspirations.

MP Al-Dhaen also highlighted His Majesty’s reference to the imminent completion of amendments to the Press.
