Human resources a core pillar of development

His Excellency Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Acting Minister of Legal Affairs and Minister of Labour, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to strengthen its approach of investing in Bahraini human resources as a core pillar of national development.

He emphasised that this is achieved through promoting human development and expanding opportunities for citizens, ensuring their active integration into the labour market and enabling them to contribute to building a more competitive and sustainable national economy,

This is in line with the goals of comprehensive national development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Khalaf added.

Royal speech

The Acting Minister praised the content of HM the King’s speech during the inauguration of the fourth session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura and Representatives Councils.

His Majesty highlighted the important initiative announced by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for job seekers, which includes the necessary facilitation to provide citizens with more employment options, enabling them to actively contribute to shaping the nation’s future.

This royal commendation, he noted, reflects a strong commitment to expanding employment opportunities for citizens, and provides a guiding framework for the next phase of progress, based on national principles.
