His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Humood Al Khalifa, Governor of the Capital Governorate, affirmed that enhancing health awareness and appreciating charitable and community efforts are two fundamental pillars in building a cohesive society with a high quality of life.
He pointed out the Governorate’s keenness to support initiatives that contribute to spreading awareness and consolidating a culture of humanitarian giving and social responsibility.
This came during the launch of the “Inspiring Stories: From Awareness to Initiative” forum, organized by the Capital Governorate to mark World Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Governor praised the charitable and humanitarian efforts made by institutions and individuals in supporting awareness and health.
