The Indian Club in Bahrain formally inducted its new Executive Committee for the 2025-27 tenure in a grand ceremony held on October 2, 2025.
The event, which was part of the ongoing ‘Aavani 2025’ Onam Festival, saw the attendance of hundreds of club members and members of the public.
The official function was marked by the presence of high-profile dignitaries.
Guests
His Excellency Osama Bin Saleh Al Alawi, the Minister of Social Development, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while H.E. Mr. Vinod K. Jacob, the Ambassador for India to Bahrain, attended as the Guest of Honour.
The colorful ceremony was also attended by various other prominent personalities from the Kingdom.
Following the induction ceremony, the evening transitioned into a spectacular entertainment segment featuring a Mega Musical Show.
Leading the show were renowned figures from India: Cine Actor Abid Anwar and popular playback Singer Divya Nair.
Musical treat
The duo, along with their team, delivered a memorable musical treat, thoroughly entertaining the large crowd.
The night concluded with an important reminder for the grand finale of the ‘Aavani 2025’ celebrations: the Grand Onasadhya scheduled for October 10, 2025.
The traditional Onam feast will be prepared by the renowned culinary master, Mr. Jayan Sukumarapillai.
