Bahrain and Kuwait Strengthen Ties During Al-Ula Meeting
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Youssef Al-Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, on the sidelines of the Munich Leaders’ Meeting hosted in Al-Ula, Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged cordial discussions and reviewed the longstanding fraternal relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. They also explored ongoing efforts to further develop and strengthen cooperation across various fields, guided by the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain and His Highness Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait.
The ministers also shared views on advancing Gulf joint action and enhancing cooperation and integration among member states across multiple sectors.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Saeed Abdulkhaleq Saeed, Head of Coordination and Follow-up at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
