Acting Labour Minister Meets Job Seekers, Pledges Easier Hiring Process
In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to provide three job opportunities to every registered job seeker before the end of this year, His Excellency Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, conducted an inspection visit to the ministry’s Employment Services Centre.
The visit aimed to review the workflow and organizational procedures in place. During the tour, the Acting Minister of Labour met with several registered job seekers, listening to their feedback regarding recruitment mechanisms. He stressed that all suggestions are taken into consideration to enhance and streamline employment services.
He affirmed the ministry’s commitment to launching initiatives that support national employment efforts, expand job opportunities for citizens, and integrate them into the private sector, which plays a key role in the success of employment and training programs.
The ministry has also begun receiving job seekers according to scheduled appointments sent via the government notification system. Interviews are being held at the ministry’s headquarters during both morning and evening shifts, extending until 7 p.m. This initiative is part of the ministry’s efforts to accommodate all registered job seekers and ensure that three employment opportunities are presented to them before the year’s end.
