Registration is now open for the fourth Middle East Sustainability Forum, which Bahrain will host early next year with a sharper focus on turning climate pledges into action plans.

Set for January 27–28, 2026, at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, the forum will convene more than 400 executives, policymakers, and experts under the theme ‘Advancing Consensus, Innovation, and Execution for the Energy and Climate Transformation.’ The event will be held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, with support from the Supreme Council for the Environment.

Skills over speeches

Unlike many regional conferences heavy on speeches, this edition sets aside an entire second day for hands-on workshops. Run by international consulting firms, the sessions will train participants to integrate sustainability into business strategies and prepare their organisations for a low-carbon economy.

The programme also tackles pressing issues such as aligning business models with climate targets, accelerating technological innovation, shaping regulatory frameworks, expanding climate finance, and promoting women’s leadership in sustainability. More than 50 speakers from across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the Americas are scheduled to contribute.

Organisers have urged early registration, noting that participants who sign up before November 30 will receive a 20 per cent discount. The forum promises not just networking opportunities but also practical tools to help leaders move from promises to performance in the climate economy.
