HM King amends law on anti-terror, money laundering body

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (58) of 2025, amending Article l of Decree (50) of 2020 on the Establishment and Formation of the Committee for Combating Extremism, Terrorism Financing, and Money Laundering, based on the proposal of the Minister of Interior and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The Minister of Interior shall implement this decree, which shall come into effect from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.

Provisions

HM the King issued Decree-Law (36) of 2025, amending certain provisions of Decree-Law (4) of 2001 on the Prohibition and Combating of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.

His Majesty issued Decree-Law (37) of 2025, amending Article (161) of the Central Bank of Bahrain and Financial Institutions Law issued under Law (64) of 2006, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.

He issued Decree-Law (40) of 2025, amending certain provisions of Law (8) of 2021 concerning Sports Professionalism, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Public fundraising

HM King Hamad issued Decree-Law (39) of 2025, amending certain provisions of Decree-Law (21) of 2013 on the Organisation of Public Fundraising, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.

His Majesty issued Decree-Law (38) of 2025, amending certain provisions of the Commercial Companies Law issued under Decree-Law (21) of 2001, based on the proposal of the Prime Minister and followHM the King ing the approval of the Cabinet.
