Bahrain Showcases Tourism and Events Sector at IBPEX 2025 in Dubai

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) participated in the 10th edition of IBPEX 2025, held in Dubai, UAE, on September 4–5. The event brought together over 100 exhibitors and 500 event organizers from around the world, along with key buyers from major global markets.

Bahrain’s national pavilion highlighted the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors. In addition to BTEA, the pavilion featured the Bahrain International Exhibition & Convention Center, national carrier Gulf Air, Visit Bahrain (the destination management company), and hospitality partners including Sofitel Bahrain, Raffles Al Areen Resort & Palace, and Hiddar Resort — managed by Mantis.

The participation provided Bahrain with a platform to showcase its tourism offerings and competitive advantages in hosting major international events. The pavilion presented a comprehensive model combining modern infrastructure, efficiency, and unique experiences for visitors and event organizers.

The national pavilion emphasized Bahrain’s integrated tourism ecosystem, highlighting opportunities for conferences, exhibitions, and high-profile events supported by advanced infrastructure, expert event management, flexible travel solutions, and luxury hospitality services, positioning the Kingdom as a preferred destination for regional and global event organizers.

During the exhibition, the Bahraini delegation held over 40 meetings with event planners, associations, and industry influencers, in addition to participating in sessions attended by more than 500 specialists. These interactions aimed to strengthen partnerships and expand international collaboration in the tourism and events sector.
