Capital Municipality Cracks Down on Violating Trucks

The Capital Municipality has launched a field campaign to monitor and penalize trucks that fail to cover their loads, in an effort to reduce the spillage of debris and waste on public roads.

The municipality said in an official statement that the campaign targeted several violations, including the leakage of sand and construction materials from uncovered trucks. Immediate fines were issued to non-compliant drivers, with legal measures enforced under Public Cleanliness Law No. (10) of 2019.

Authorities stressed the importance of truck owners adhering to regulations to avoid penalties. Compliance, they added, will support ongoing public cleanliness efforts while ensuring safer and cleaner roads across the capital
