HM King Hamad Welcomes U.S. Central Command Chief to Bahrain
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Bahrain Defence Force, received today at Al-Safriya Palace Admiral Charles Cooper, Commander of the U.S. Central Command, along with his accompanying delegation, during their visit to the Kingdom.
During the meeting, King Hamad welcomed Admiral Cooper and his delegation, congratulating him on his new position and wishing him success in strengthening Bahraini-American cooperation in defense and security, which supports regional peace and stability.
His Majesty highlighted the deep and longstanding strategic relations and historic partnership between the two countries, built on trust, respect, and mutual coordination. He praised the ongoing progress in bilateral cooperation across various fields, reflecting the shared goals and aspirations of the two friendly nations and allies.
King Hamad also commended the U.S. administration’s pivotal role in promoting regional security and stability.
The meeting included an exchange of views on key regional and international developments, including the latest events in the Middle East.
