Bahrain’s Chief of Staff Visits USS Nimitz

Lieutenant General Theyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Chief of Staff of the Bahrain Defence Force, visited the USS Nimitz, a United States Navy aircraft carrier, on Wednesday evening.
During the visit, he received a detailed briefing on the carrier’s operations, capabilities, and missions. He then toured various sections of the vessel, learning about its advanced systems and state-of-the-art navigation equipment.
Lieutenant General Al Nuaimi praised the high level of professionalism of the US Navy, highlighting that the strong military cooperation between the Royal Bahrain Navy and the US Navy reflects the deep and historic ties between Bahrain and the United States. He noted that such collaboration strengthens defense partnerships and enhances security in the region.
The Chief of Staff was accompanied by several senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force.
