Coast Guard Spreads Beach Safety Awareness in Budaiya

Budaiya Beachgoers were greeted with safety tips and free life jackets during an awareness campaign organised by the Coast Guard in cooperation with the Northern Governorate Police Directorate.
The initiative, part of ongoing community partnerships, aimed to promote safer swimming and boating habits. Officers spoke with families about how to respond in case of maritime emergencies and reminded parents to keep a close watch on children while they are in the water.
Beach visitors were also encouraged to wear life jackets, follow weather updates, and avoid swimming in strong currents or during high winds.
To reach as many people as possible, the campaign team distributed multilingual leaflets along with life jackets, ensuring that safety messages were clear and accessible to all.
