Bahrain Traffic Directorate Urges Drivers to Follow Signal Rules to Prevent Accidents

The Traffic Directorate has reminded motorists in Bahrain to strictly follow traffic signals, especially at highways, to avoid serious accidents caused by running red lights.
Officials emphasized the importance of paying attention to the flashing green light, explaining that it serves as a warning and helps drivers make safe decisions at intersections.
The flashing green light:
Gives drivers extra time to decide their next move.
Encourages them to slow down and stop safely if they are still far from the intersection.
Allows them to proceed if they are already inside the junction.
Reduces accidents caused by hesitation or sudden last-minute actions.
Authorities urged all drivers to stay alert behind the wheel and respect road rules to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
