Emirates Airline has signed a major seven-year partnership with German football giants FC Bayern Munich, making the airline the club’s Platinum Partner from the 2025-26 season until 2031-32.

FC Bayern, the 34-time Bundesliga champions and six-time UEFA Champions League winners, is one of the most popular football clubs in the world, boasting over 140 million fans and 410,000 official members. The club’s international fan network spans more than 100 countries, reflecting its global reach.

As part of the deal, Emirates will enjoy significant visibility at Bayern’s home ground, the Allianz Arena, including LED boards, pitch-side branding, and a dedicated Emirates skybox. The partnership also includes exclusive ticket access, hospitality benefits, and the use of the team’s collective player images in promotions. Emirates branding will also appear during press conferences, post-match interviews, and on the club’s digital platforms.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, described the partnership as “more than a commercial agreement,” highlighting the airline’s commitment to Germany and its passion for connecting with football fans worldwide.

“Few forces match sport’s remarkable ability to unite hearts and minds,” he said. “We look forward to building strong connections with millions of FC Bayern fans around the globe, while celebrating excellence—a value shared by both Emirates and Bayern.”

Michael Diederich, Deputy Chairman of FC Bayern, said the club is excited to welcome Emirates as a partner. “Emirates has been a loyal supporter of football for decades, and this partnership gives FC Bayern the financial stability it needs to achieve its sporting goals. Their global reach will also support our international growth,” he noted.

The deal marks Emirates’ official return to German football and strengthens its already impressive sports portfolio. The airline also sponsors top clubs like Real Madrid, Arsenal, AC Milan, Benfica, and Lyon, and has been the title sponsor of the Emirates FA Cup for nearly a decade.

With its global network and “Fly Better” message, Emirates aims to connect with FC Bayern’s growing fan base, particularly in Asia and the United States, while reinforcing its image as a leading supporter of world football.
