Shaikh Khalid Visits National Civil Emergency Management Center

Shaikh Khalid bin Ali bin Jaber Al Khalifa, Deputy National Security Advisor and Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Defense Council, visited the National Civil Emergency Management Center, where he was received by Major-General Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Public Security.
During the visit, Shaikh Khalid was briefed on the operations of the Executive Office of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management and learned about the center’s comprehensive emergency management system. This included its mechanisms for early warning, field response, and coordination among relevant authorities.
He was also updated on the center’s operational and technical capabilities, as well as the readiness of its systems to deal with potential risks and disasters. The briefing highlighted the progress in Bahrain’s emergency infrastructure and the efficiency of national response teams.
Shaikh Khalid praised the vital role of the National Committee for Civil Emergency Management and the collaborative efforts of all involved agencies. He said these integrated efforts showcase a strong national model for institutional teamwork and enhance the Kingdom’s overall preparedness to face various challenges.
The visit also included a review of joint coordination mechanisms, command and control protocols, and national programs aimed at strengthening readiness through joint exercises and strategic plans. These efforts are part of Bahrain’s national approach to improving response capabilities and unifying national efforts in times of emergency.
