Scientific exhibition unveils students’ hidden talents
Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi opened the first scientific exhibitions in schools at Iman Girls School yesterday, in the presence of Board of Trustees Chairman of the school Adel Mouwda along with a number of ministerial officials.
The minister praised the projects presented by the students, stressing the ministry’s keenness on continuously supporting and providing such aspects in private schools in order to contribute to the advancement of educational services available to students.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, the minister also honoured student Yahya Bilal for winning the first place in the Holy Quran and Prophet’s Sunnah Award contest for memorisation, stressing the ministry’s pride for developing and highlighting student achievements.
The scientific exhibition at Iman School includes many projects presented by students, such as the hurricane experiment, plate tectonics hypothesis, Bermuda triangle hypothesis, time relativity, black hole hypothesis and electronic simulation software, covering the Departments of Science, Environment and Electronics.
