The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (DANAT) has introduced a new service called "Image+ by DANAT", offering high-resolution images of jewelry pieces submitted for inspection and certification. The initiative aims to support jewelers and professionals in the gems and jewelry industry by providing professional-grade images of their valuable items.
The service offers two options. The first provides clients with a high-quality version of the image already used in DANAT’s official inspection report. The second option involves a fresh photoshoot in a specialized studio with standard professional lighting and background settings.
Speaking on the launch, Noura Jamsheer, CEO of DANAT, said the service was developed to meet the growing needs of both local and international markets for professional jewelry photography—particularly for use in digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, online auctions, and exhibitions.
“This service bridges a gap in the market,” Jamsheer noted. “Jewelry photography often requires expensive equipment and technical expertise. Image+ helps overcome these barriers by making professional imaging accessible, while ensuring each photo is linked to a trusted DANAT certification.”
She emphasized that Image+ is a step forward in enhancing the customer experience and the overall transparency of the jewelry market. It reinforces DANAT’s commitment to being a global authority in the testing and certification of pearls, gemstones, jewelry, and diamonds.
“High-quality images not only elevate the visual appeal of the products but also boost buyer confidence, especially when paired with a trusted authenticity certificate,” Jamsheer added.
