His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar and their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and joint efforts across various fields to serve mutual interests and meet the aspirations of their brotherly peoples.

HM the King was speaking as he received yesterday at Al Safriya Palace His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, Minister of Transport of the State of Qatar, on the occasion of his official visit to the Kingdom. During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, along with his sincere wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.

His Majesty the King warmly welcomed the Qatari minister and asked him to convey his greetings and best wishes to His Highness the Emir of Qatar, as well as to the Qatari people, for ongoing progress and development.

The meeting reviewed the longstanding bilateral relations between Bahrain and Qatar, as well as means to further enhance cooperation, particularly in the transportation sector.
