Gurudeva Social Society to hold Samanwayam 2025

The Gurudeva Social Society, located in Kanoo Garden, Salmaniya, in collaboration with Star Vision Events, is set to organise Samanwayam 2025, an Eid celebration and cultural evening, on Thursday, June 5.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Indian Club.

The evening will feature a blend of tradition and entertainment, highlighted by a special appearance from Dean Kuriakose, Member of Parliament from Idukki, who will serve as the chief guest.

Also attending as special guest will be K.G. Baburajan, renowned businessman and recipient of the Pravasi Bharatiya Samman award.

Samanwayam 2025 will also mark the official installation of the Society’s governing body for the 2025–2026 term and serve as the concluding ceremony of the Society’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, held last October.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, the evening will include a Mylanchi Ravu (Henna Night) celebration and a musical comedy performance featuring traditional Mappila songs.

The highlight of the event will be a one-man show by popular comedy artist and singer Rajesh Adimali.

At a recent press conference, Society Chairman Saneesh Koorumullil, General Secretary Binuraj Rajan, Event Organising Chairman Dr. P.V. Cheriyan, Star Vision Events and Media Group Chairman Sethuraj Kadakkal, and Program General Convener Raj Krishnan, along with other Board members, announced that entry to the event is free of charge and open to all members of the public.
