Interior Minister Receives Southern Governor, Reviews 2024 Development Achievements

His Excellency the Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received His Highness Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa to discuss key developments and strategic priorities for the Southern Governorate.

During the meeting, HH the Southern Governor presented the 2024 Annual Report, outlining notable achievements across various development sectors. These accomplishments reflect the Governorate’s proactive initiatives and collaborative efforts with government agencies to assess community needs and implement projects effectively.

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the Governorate’s commitment to community engagement, emphasizing its approach of maintaining direct communication with citizens and addressing service-related concerns promptly.

HE the Interior Minister commended the Governorate’s dedication to enhancing public services and improving residents’ quality of life. He expressed his appreciation for their efforts and wished them continued success in advancing national development.

The meeting also reviewed current programmes and discussed future plans to support the ongoing progress of the Southern Governorate.
