‘Top investment destination in Gulf’

Bahrain continues to implement comprehensive development plans aimed at strengthening its position as a leading investment destination in the region.

This was emphasised by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, who gave credit to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Shaikh Salman also underscored the importance of strategic initiatives that attract investment and enhance the business climate, contributing to national development and economic growth.

The Minister was speaking as he inaugurated the Bahrain Investors Centre following the completion of its redevelopment at Bahrain Financial Harbour. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, along with senior officials.

Shaikh Salman also reviewed the updates made to the Saudi Investors Centre and inaugurated the newly established UAE Investors Centre, as part of Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to enhance its business environment and deliver advanced investment services.

The Minister emphasised the role of investment centres in improving the quality of services and supporting a more efficient and competitive investment environment.

He highlighted that simplifying procedures and accelerating service delivery improves investor satisfaction and facilitates business operations, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to adopting best practices.
