The Chief Executive of Bahrain’s Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA), Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, has praised the Prime Minister’s Fellowship Programme as a key driver of national leadership development.
Speaking during a meeting with the programme’s 10th intake yesterday, Al Qaed said the initiative reflects the vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to nurture future leaders who can deliver excellence across government sectors under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al Qaed described the fellowship as a model for building young Bahraini talent and equipping them with the skills and technical expertise required for the modern government sector.
Goals
He encouraged participants to focus on developing leadership qualities and innovative thinking to contribute to the programme’s goals.
The fellowship, part of Bahrain’s wider Vision 2030 framework, aims to prepare future leaders who can apply data-driven approaches and creative solutions to meet emerging challenges and drive national progress. Al Qaed also shared updates on iGA’s latest digital transformation projects designed to improve government service delivery.
These include the launch of the MyGov app for unified service access, the upgraded eKey 2.0 app, the rollout of an enhanced national ID card, new self-service centres and the iGA Innovation Center.
