In celebration of Arab Tourism Day, Ms. Sarah Ahmed Buhijji, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), highlighted the pivotal role of hotel establishments in supporting and enhancing the Kingdom’s tourism sector. She emphasized that the hospitality industry remains a crucial partner in reinforcing Bahrain’s reputation as a premier tourist destination by delivering exceptional experiences to visitors and contributing to sectoral development.
During a meeting with representatives from the hotel industry, Buhijji discussed the latest initiatives and strategic plans that the BTEA is implementing to drive tourism growth. She underscored the importance of collaboration between the BTEA and hotel operators, ensuring a seamless and integrated tourism experience aligned with Bahrain’s 2022-2026 Tourism Strategy.
