The Anti-Human Trafficking Directorate of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science has successfully handled 22 human trafficking cases over the past year, leading to the arrest of 50 individuals involved in these crimes.

According to official reports, the cases were recorded between January 2024 and January 2025, with authorities also providing assistance to 41 victims. The General Directorate confirmed that all necessary legal measures have been taken, and the arrested individuals have been referred to the Public Prosecution.

Reaffirming its commitment to combating human trafficking, the Directorate emphasised its dedication to enforcing national laws and adhering to international agreements aimed at protecting victims and ensuring justice.

Authorities continue to urge the public to report any suspicious activities related to human trafficking, reinforcing Bahrain’s stance against exploitation and organised crime.
