The Arts Centre, under the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), yesterday launched the “Palm Paper” exhibition.
This event forms part of the 19th Spring of Culture Festival, jointly organised with the Child and Motherhood Welfare Society and the Art Gallery.
The exhibition, featuring a diverse lineup of Bahraini artists, will run until January 18. Visitors can explore the artworks daily from 9am to 8pm.
Humanitarian message
“Palm Paper” carries a profound humanitarian message.
The participating artists have utilised papers crafted from palm fronds, handmade by members of the Child and Motherhood Welfare Society, to create unique works ranging from drawings to collages.
These pieces address themes relevant to Bahraini society, with all proceeds directed toward supporting the society and its Women’s Training Center for Paper Industries.
Cultural experiences
The 19th Spring of Culture Festival continues until late February, offering a rich tapestry of artistic and cultural experiences.
