Ma’ameer Road Upgrade: One-third of BD1.5 million project completed

The Ministry of Works has released an update on the road development project in the 633 complex in the Ma’ameer area of the Capital Governorate. The project, aimed at enhancing local infrastructure, is currently 33% complete.
This initiative focuses on upgrading Ma’ameer Avenue and the surrounding internal roads, covering a total of 4 kilometres. The primary goals are to improve the road network, increase traffic safety, and facilitate smoother movement for both citizens and residents.
The project includes settling dirt and laying asphalt paving layers on multiple roads, establishing a rainwater drainage network, protecting underground utilities, installing new light poles and traffic signs, and painting road markings. The project has a total cost of BD1,489,068.
