Huawei said it is not short of communication equipment will boost its smartphone business

Shenzhen, China

Chinese technology giant Huawei technology said it has a “sufficient” inventory for its communications equipment business but it seeks out for smartphone chips amid rumors indicating an American ban has negatively impacted the company.
The company is developing new consumer devices to boost its smartphone business- Bloomberg reported. Huawei also claimed that it has enough supplies to keep its enterprise and carrier units afloat.
Huawei’s rotating Chairman Guo ping underlined that the company will provide full support to its supply chain, including in areas like talent, technology, and standards; to help navigate the current restrictions. The company urged the US to reconsider the rules while imposing the ban.
From the tech geek’s world, it is learned that the prominent chip maker Intel has received a license to deal with Huawei and the Chinese company has already confirmed another tech leader Qualcomm is waiting for the license to deal with Huawei. Chipmaker AMD is also in the row to get a license.
Despite all the negatives, Huawei’s first-half revenue grew 13% to 454 billion yuan ($67 billion) the company said in July. Profit for the six months to June soared nearly 20% to about 41.8 billion.
